Amy and I were really privileged to photograph a concert called “I Have Dreamed” for Janene Lovullo, a Broadway vocalist based in Orange County and Los Angeles. Janene, who has a ridiculously impressive theater resume including Broadway performances as Fantine in Les Miserables, mounted the concert as a benefit for the Orangewood Children’s Foundation, a charity that focuses on improving the lives of kids in Orange County’s foster care system. In addition to benefiting a great cause, Janene put on an incredible concert. She has an absolutely amazing voice and has really put together a quality production. Reams Photo was really glad to be a part of it!
Amy’s mom, Deb Gilbert, prepared the appetizers for the event and handled the decorations. I’m sure that the venue has never looked better!
Of course, the feature of the evening was Janene’s singing.
Janene’s concert was a great night of music-plus, it was a blast for Amy and I to get back to photography after a bit of a break. The end of September will be a little busy. We’re doing our first destination photography assignment-to Portland for a variety of senior and family portraits-next weekend, so expect lots of updates in the next few weeks.
