Amy and I are really excited to be able to present some of our favorite images from Julie and Charlie’s engagement session. As you’ve already seen from our engagement preview, this session took place in a really beautiful park up in Irvine. Julie and Charlie were such a pleasure to work with-so much fun and willing to do any silly thing that Amy or I asked them to.
I love this shot that Amy took-the playground makes such a unique background and I think that she caught the flare from the sun just right
I love the dancing photo that we posted earlier, but this one is a blast as well!
Something about that willow tree just called out to be in black and white. I love the way that the conversions of Julie and Charlie sitting on the bench overlooking the lake turned out.
We start each of our photo sessions (engagement or portrait-we won’t do this on your wedding day!) by doing a little headshot routine. It helps Amy and I interact with our photo subjects a bit and besides, I think everybody loves making funny faces.
Thanks so much Julie and Charlie! We’re so excited about photographing the wedding-can’t wait to see you two again!
