Last week, during the big rainstorm, our power went out for almost 12 hours. Amy and I had planned to spend the evening editing pictures; instead, we wound up sitting on the floor of the Harris’ home and playing board games by candlelight with Cindi and the kids. They’re just the best neighbors ever. We’ve also really enjoyed getting to know the extended family a little better and we had a great time taking family portraits for them over Christmas break.

As the family session wound down, we got a chance to photograph an impromptu couples portrait session with Cindi and Mike.
Amy just loves this last shot. She almost made it her desktop image on the laptop. I told her it was creepy…but she really likes it!
