Questions We Think People Might Ask

Question 1: “We’re not getting married in San Diego or Orange County, but we’d still love to have Reams Photo photograph our wedding. Can we still enter the contest?”

Answer 1: Absolutely! We love to shoot outside of Southern California. If a destination wedding wins the Inspired by Love contest, we’ll ask the winners to provide travel to and from the wedding site and arrange hotel accommodations. So, the photography would remain free, but we’d ask you to cover our travel expenses.

Question 2: “I’m having trouble signing up for/getting invited to/pinning images on Pinterest. Is there another way to enter?”

Answer 2: Yup. While Pinterest is likely the easiest way to enter the Inspired by Love contest, if there’s another venue on which you’d rather display your vision for a creative and beautiful wedding, you’re welcome to use that instead. You could create an online photo gallery through Flickr or Picasa, build a website, create a stop-motion video of what you imagine your day to look like using sock puppets and macaroni…Really anything that gets your vision for your wedding across is great with us.

Question 3: “I’ve already booked with Reams Photo. Can I still enter the contest?”

Answer 3: Absolutely! If you win the contest, we’ll refund your deposit and shoot the wedding for free!

Question 4: “I know that I’d like Reams Photo to shoot my wedding, but I’d also like to enter the contest. How does that work?”

Answer 4: If you’ve decided that we’re the photographers for you (thanks, by the way!), use the Contact form above to get in touch with us. We’ll make sure that your date is still available and we’ll probably buy you some coffee so we can talk over any questions you might have. Once we get your deposit check, your date is reserved. You can still definitely enter the contest. If you win, you’ll get your deposit check back; if you don’t win, you’ll still get great photos on your wedding day and you’ll know that your date with us is secure. Also, you’ll probably get some coffee.

Question 5: “What if Reams Photo is already booked for my wedding date? Can I still enter the contest?”

Answer 5: Unfortunately, not. When you submit your inspiration board, you’ll receive an email back from Amy letting you know if we’re still available on the date that you submitted. If we’re already booked for that date, unfortunately we can’t consider you for the contest. Of course, the best way to ensure that we’re available on your wedding date is to book with us early, and then submit your contest entry. On the bright side, we only take between 10-15 weddings a year to make sure that we’re spending plenty of time with each of our couples and doing our very best work, so your odds are looking pretty good.
