Rules (in plain English)

The Inspired by Love contest is open to couples who are engaged and planning to get married on or before February 14, 2013.

Here’s how to play:

Step 1: Make a Pinboard!

Make a wedding pinboard over at Pinterest with 25-50 photos, including a photo of you and your fiancee that shows off your personalities. Have fun! Dress up! Let us know who YOU are because that’s what we care about. Make sure all of your pins reflect ideas that you actually plan on implementing. (Like, don’t include a bunch of circus pictures unless you’re already booking the elephants.) We want this contest to help you plan a gorgeous wedding that you love and that we can take amazing pictures of, so don’t just try to pander to what you think we want to see. We want to see YOU, and you’ll up your chances of winning!

Step 2: Submit your entry via our Contact page before 11:59 pm PST, February 7, 2012

Click the “Contact” button at the top of this page. You’ll need your name and contact info (easy), wedding date (if it’s been established already-if not just write “TBD,” a link to the Pinterest inspiration board for your wedding, and, if you’d like, a couple of the creative ideas that are going to make your wedding a beautiful and unique expression of your relationship. Feel free to tell us why these ideas are important to you as a couple, or anything else you think is fun, special, or meaningful. Go nuts!

Step 3: Wait for the finalists to be announced on February 8, 2012

We’ll announce the top-5 finalists on February 8, 2012. If you find yourself in the top five, it’s time to get the word out and get your family and friends voting! We’ll display a page from your Pinterest board on our blog and let our readers determine the prize winners!
