Since we’re launching the blog and website, we’re trying to give everyone a recap of what we’ve been doing over the last year or so.
Earlier this year we had the opportunity to take some senior portraits for Amy’s cousin, Morgan. She and her family live in Oregon, but they were in Chico for Thanksgiving so we took an afternoon and went into the Chico countryside. Although we love photographing San Diego, it’s always fun to experiment with taking photos in a new city. Our first location was a creek bed where we’d taken Abie and Aaron’s wedding portratit earlier in the year.

After we left the creek, we drove down a beautiful country road and saw a chance to take some photos next to a cool old battered truck that was nearby. While Amy watched for the trucks owners and Morgan tried to look relaxed, we took some fun portraits on and around the truck.

Finally, after fleeing the truck we headed towards home; however, the light was still good and Morgan was still willing to smile, so we stopped in a field to take a few more pictures.

And then, Amy tossed on the coat and started modeling too.

Let that photo be a warning to you; if you book photos with us, Amy may take your clothes and play dress up a little bit![]()
