Jenn and Joe | Engagement | Lake Cuyamaca

At one point during this session Jenn said, “I didn’t think engagement pictures were this weird.” To be fair, Paul and I pretty much looked at each other and shrugged in agreement. It was literally ninety degrees in San Diego, and then after less than an hour of driving towards Julian, we hit snow. So of course, Jenn braved the cold and she and Joe threw snowballs in her cute summer dress. Then we bought doughnuts at the famous Julian apple pie shop, after which we stumbled upon what we swear was a human thigh bone in the woods. (Obviously, we’re all about romance here at Reams Photo). Jenn’s comment came right after someone yelled, “Femurs everywhere!”  Yup, totally weird (and awesome) day. Isn’t it cool that love looks just a beautiful on weird days?!

Then Amy proceeded to eat all of Jenn and Joe’s doughnuts. (PS- the apple cider donuts are incredible at the Julian Pie Co- dare I say better than the apple pie?)
