We got to know a piece of Jenn and Joe and their awesome quirkiness at their crazy engagement session- (um snow, sundresses, and donuts anyone?) but somewhere around the middle of the Priest’s homily at their wedding, Paul and I looked at each other and sighed. A big, heavy, smiling sigh, because there was such a feeling of deep contentment in this wedding day. We saw it live and we’ve seen it over the last few weeks in the pictures on our computer screen- their love is obvious and shines strong through our lenses. It’s not necessarily a sweep-you-up romance (although there’s some of that too) but it’s clear that Joe and Jenn are best friends. The way they laugh, it’s so beautiful! Then we took carts out on the golf course and the wind came up and it was cold. But there are just some things that bring life- soaking rain when it doesn’t matter if you’re wet, ocean waves that sting feet with cold on a cloudy day, and a really good wind. It wiped away pretense and loosened the tendrils of her hair and brought so much laughter and coziness. And we all came alive a little more, I think. Doesn’t she just look radiant in his arms?
