Josh is a theater guy, so while most grooms are toasting over beer or out golfing, Josh (along with his loyal groomsmen) spent his wedding morning prepping, chair placement finessing, and music playlist adjusting. Pretty much everything I would have spent my morning doing if I hadn’t had to spend hours in hair and makeup. The result for Josh and Jolene‘s day was worth it and these guys seem able to have fun doing anything together. Jolene arrived to the Oceanview Room already gorgeous and full of grace. The ceremony was beautiful, but the reception was truly special. There was an intense joy-filled peace that filled the dance floor. Not that Josh and Jolene’s family don’t get their groove on (oh, they do!) but there was an ease about the whole afternoon. Maybe it was Jolene’s chiffon dress whipping around her ankles in the wind (over some crazy cute jelly shoes!), or maybe it was the tear-jerking emotion displayed by Josh, or maybe the laziness of the boats sailing by just yards in front of us, but the wedding was really one of a kind. Congrats Josh and Jolene!
